Following on from the District’s iScout for Dougie Mac event in and around Newcastle last September, we now have the total amount we raised.
£2076 was raised for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in Blurton and £276 for Macmillan Cancer Support, the national charity (the two are not connected).
This is a really impressive amount and we would like to thank all who helped out with the day, our sponsors and supporters.
A presentation to Dougie Mac will take place at a later date.
