Dear Young Leaders,
Bookings are now open for the Young Leader Training Weekend in the north of the County, open to Young Leaders
from Newcastle, Potteries North & Three Towns Districts.
The weekend will include Young Leader Training Scheme modules, discussions, and fun activities.
Leaders from across the districts will share their experience and ideas.
Training:
We’ll run the Inspire Training Course (for first-year Young Leaders) covering:
• Module D – Understanding Behaviour
• Module E – Game On!
• Module G – Programme Plans
• Module H – Programme Plans Plus
Dates:
Saturday 28th February – Sunday 1st March 2026
Location:
Trentham Scout Group HQ, Churchill Ave, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8PF
Camping will be on-site — bring a tent, roll mat, and 3-season sleeping bag (suitable for winter camping).
Cost:
£10 (all meals included) – subsidised by the three districts. Please ask your group for support with the cost.
