We are very pleased to announce that that District Active Support Manager, Mike Deakin, has been awarded the British Empire Medal for Services to Scouting in the New Years Honours.
Mike has been involved with Scouting and especially the 74th Silverdale Group for 70 years. This is honour well deserved and we send Mike our congratulations.
