This week (01/06/15 – 07/06/15) is Volunteers’ Week.
Volunteers’ Week celebrates the contribution made by the 23 million people across the UK who volunteer in their communities.
There are around 200 adult volunteers in Newcastle who hold positions within Groups and the District, not to mention the countless parents and family members around the District who help out with events and activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
So to all of you we say –
Volunteering in Newcastle is very flexible, whether you want to become a Leader or just help out once or twice a month we can help! You don’t need to know how to tie knots or put up a tent, just bring along your own skills and enthusiasm!
