A message for 107th Westlands after a successful recruitment evening.
“107th Westlands would like to extend a big thank you to the District & Scout Active Support Unit for all the help in helping us recruit more help.
Vera, Laura, Paul, Andy, Mike, Graham & Sue all helped us to recruit a committee, group helpers and possible new leaders. We got the parents in by having a camp fire sing song lead by Andy Sutton, together with a investiture & badge presentation. The SASU did the hot dogs and tea. Myself and Vera Bloor did a pitch to the parents for some help in the running of the Group and managed to get a committee & volunteer helpers.
It was a fantastic night and I think that’s why it was such a success.”
