In December 2013 The Explorer and Network Scouts in Newcastle celebrated their successes at Keele. A lecture theatre was booked for the evening and the young people were invited to event along with their families and leadership teams.
A range of Awards were presented during the evening by the unit leaders and the County Commissioner.
In particular we were very proud to see Three Network Scouts receive their Gold Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Scout Awards.
All three will be travelling to Windsor in May 2014 to receive their Awards from the Duke of Edinburgh.
